Professional Experience
Clinical Counseling and Pastoral Care: Developed and implemented Department of Defense and Department of Army policy for chaplain family life programs, family support groups, suicide prevention, elder care, and victim assistance. Created specialized pastoral counseling programs in confinement, hospital, retreat, and church settings.
Pastoral Experience: Held key and selected leadership positions from 1983 to present. Facilitated growth and managed rapid changes in multi-cultural, multi-religious settings. Restructured personnel systems and clergy training programs. Developed vision, goals, and plans for present and future ministry. Led in the establishment of five family pastoral training and counseling centers. Provided equipment and supplies for over 30 chapels.
Communication/Teaching: Served in a preaching capacity and facilitated spiritual and human growth in ethnically and religiously diverse settings for over 30 years. Wrote a widely read weekly newspaper column for two years. Initiated and conducted a successful Christian radio call-in program for one year. Sought as a guest lecturer at numerous training events and public speaking engagements that included White House dignitaries, government officials, and church leaders at both stateside and overseas locations.
